National Cadet Corps (NCC)
With the motto "Unity & Discipline" NCC has been the propeller in channelizing the force of the youth population of India since 1948,with three clear cut aims,
such as –
- Development of leadership, character, comradeship, spirit of sportsmanship and the ideals of service.
- To create a force of disciplined and trained man power, which in a national emergency could be of assistance to the country.
- To provide training for students with a view to develop in them officer like qualities, to enable them to get commission in the armed forces.
NCC’s training syllabus of ARMY, NAVY & AIRFORCE has been evolved to an integrated program based on the semester system. The scope of basic drill and weapon training has been proportionally reduced to make room for programs on leadership, motivation & youth management. The highlight has been the incorporation of the adventure training, youth activities and social services Our College has created a space for its boy’s cadets to undergo such training and enable them to blossom in the true sense towards the all-around development of their personality.
