About Department
The Department of Biotechnology was established in 2002 with B.Sc Biotechnology and M.Sc was introduced in 2003 with the objective to make students express their innovative knowledge and scientific skills for the new era of Biotechnology.
The Department has ICT enabled class rooms and highly equipped laboratories with sophisticated instrumentations. It focuses on inculcating ethical and moral values among the students. The department also organizes conferences, seminars and symposiums; arranges internships and industrial visits; offers add-on courses, certificate courses, value-added courses, vocational education training to supplement curriculum learning.
The department have qualified faculty having doctoral and research experiences and focus on research in the areas of Biotechnology/Biological Sciences.
